Due to printing costs, starting in the fall, the DCA newsletters will be published only on the website.

There will be paper copies available in the convenience store and at both schools as well.

SOCCER CO-ORDINATOR NEEDED!

Currently there is a need for a Soccer Co-ordinator for the Dundonald Community Association. This position organizes the summer soccer season and without one, there will be no outdoor program in the spring! A lack of this program will affect alot of children that are involved with the sport! Please contact the DCA if you would like to become a co-ordinator (or even if multiple people want to share the position!)

The role of the co-ordinator is as follows:

  • Organize and coordinate the soccer program for the Association in cooperation with Saskatoon Youth Soccer Inc. (SYSI).
  • Submit registration date, time, location and fees to the communications director for placement in the Association newsletter.
  • Recruit coaches and make up teams.
  • In conjunction with Saskatoon Youth Soccer, ensure all details regarding times, dates and locations of all games are established.
  • Organize registration and submitting of documentation to SYSI and the Association in a timely manner.
  • Submit collected fees and an accurate summary of revenues and expenses to the Treasurer in a timely manner.
  • Ensure coaches and assistants notify parents of game dates, cancellations, and changes in a timely manner.
  • Purchase and maintain all equipment
  • Provide yearly budget for all soccer needs to the Association.
